This time I chose global warming as my topic. I chose this topic because I have studied about this topic a bit in Japanese when I was in junior high school but I have never studied this topic in English so. In addition, if I study in english about global warming, perhaps I can find new facts, which mean about cause and effect and solution. Also I think this issue is a crisis problem so I chose global warming as my topic.
My three main points are 1.cause and 2.adverse effect and 3.countermeasure.
About cause, I think human action is one of the biggest cause of the global warming. People use a lot of resources and they waste them as much as they can. They always try to make new things, “State of the art” but they dump a lot of things even if those are still usable.
Effect is a lot. Natural disasters like drought and flood, temperature and sea level rise, Ozone depletion and so on. in my opinion, Human causes this big issue and human get damage, “What goes around comes around.” Now, we still can have good lives and good food, but next generation, our descendants will suffer for sure so we need to find a good solution of this problem.
About solution, I think we all have something that we can do. For an example, when we make food or furnitures or electronics, always we should make the minimum required. Then we should repeat doing that and then we can reduce waste matters.
I choose water resources for the second essay. We cannot live without the water. The water is essential for human activities. But I thought there are many issues or different opinions about water and I have never researched about water resources. This is a good opportunity to start my research. So this time I choose water resources.
My three main points are “the different opinions between developed countries and developing countries”, “human actions affect water” and “new technology and support activities”. Developing countries do not want to care about water pollution because they hope they develop more. But developed countries want to solve water pollution. I thought water shortage or pollution happens in developing countries. So I want to research this contradiction.
Developed countries had suffered from water issues that developing countries are facing now. So I want to find out the solution for these issues.
Why I chose “Habitat Preservation ” because
I was born in town filled in nature
I became to have animals by living with nature
When I was an elementary school student and high school student I went to Okinawa to learn about its peace n nature.
Okinawa is rich in nature and ocean is so beautiful
However, it is in danger now.
It is suffering from destruction of coral leafs and extinction of dugongs.
I heard people make this situation and I was shocked.
My three main topics are extinction, global warming and pollution.
I think people should know animals become to extinct because of not only nature but also man-made. We kill nature and animals indirectly.
I think we can stop global warming getting worse by a little thoughtfulness like tuning the light off when we don’t use it, recycling the garbage or use water as little as possible.
I think Japan can make policy which stop pollution.
I chose pollution in this time, because I think all the problems of pollution caused by human beings . Once, our planet had rich green, clean water, clean air and so on. But now, it may be said that most of them don’t stay. There are many problems in return. So I want to reserch the problems and measures.
My three main points are adverse effects caused by air pollution, adverse effects caused by soil pollution, and those solutions. The problems of imminent pollution are yellow sand in China and soil pollytion in Toyosu.The yellow sand affects it around West Japan but I’m not familiarwith the details. So I want to reasearch more detail. About soil pollution, I have never learned. So when I heard Toyosu problem, I really felt that I didn’t have knowlege about it. I want to get it in this chance. In addition, there are many probrems such as acid rain, ozon depletion.
The Kyoto Protocol or Paris agreement exist as these measures now. But because the United States expresses the secession from Paris agreement, measures of the problems of enviroment and pollution are regarded as important more. So I want to resereach more.
I chose my topic because I’m interested in foreign countries.When I ‘m with other country’s friend, I sometimes feel their thinking are different from me. Particularly when I have gone to Singapore , I saw American,British,Indian,Chinese and so on. I was so surprised to met them. I think many kinds of human race live in the world.Then I thought “ Why do they live here? “ I want to know about it deeply so I chose it.
My three main points are borders, multiculturalism and diversity. I think borders is connected with migration because now it has many problems in the world.But I have no idea about it so I’d like to research what’s the problem.
About Multiculturalism, I will focus on Toronto. In my opinion I think Toronto is the best city to live immigrants because it has good education and training systems for them.Recently Toronto promotes multiculturalism.
Diversity is so important to research this topic. I think local people of a country and immigrants of there have many differences. They had better than know each other and recognized mutually.
For these main points, I want to research deeply about migration.
My topic is energy resources. I chose this topic because since the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, we have to reconsider the future direction of energy resources because of Fukushima. We use energy everywhere. So we can`t live without it. However, some energy make bad situation such as global warming. I think we must think over energy to keep our current lives in the future and it is important for everyone to recognize the present situation. This is the reason why I chose this topic.
My main three points are clean energy, the impact of energy on the economy and fossil fuel. I chose them because I heard fossil fuel will dry up in the future. So I want to know how affect oil-producing countries if it happen. In addition, I doubt clean energy can replace the fossil fuel. If I reveal it, I think I can deepen knowledge about it and find solution.
My three opinions are “we should use clean energy as much as possible”, “fossil fuel will dry up in the future” and “oil-producing countries can`t survive in the future because of drying up resources.
I chose food supply. My grandfather is farmer. I have seen him working when I am a young age. He always works and has no holiday. I often see foreign foods when I shopping. So, I got interested in what foreign farmera are doing.
My three main points are farmer’s children, food is sold low price and decreacing harvest.
First, I think it is normal for them to work. They perform dangerous tasks.I hope them to grow healthy and safety.
Second, I think farmerrs are doing hard work every day. In spite of it they can’t have enough to profit. It is very sad.
Third, I think the main cause of it is climate change. I looked into climate change in farmer essay. I learned developing countries’s such as Japan active promote it. So, this problem is related to us.
Therefore, I want to search these three main points.
My topic is about “Water Resources”. I chose my topic because when I was high school student, I attended a lecture of “water shortage”. I learned that water shortage is very serious problem and many people are suffering from this issue. I was surprised to learn that even in developed countries are suffering from this problem. So I decided to research more about this problem.

1. In my opinion, water shortage is not only caused by natural problems. They are caused by humans’ egoism. Large companies are related too.

3. I think saving problem by government is still bit weak. Government should help each other worldwide and should make more effective programs.
I chose Migration for the second essey. This is one of the topic I’ve been interested in for a long time but I was too busy to do researches about it. I want to know why do people leave their hometowns to places that they don’t know at all, and the problems they face when they live in an unfamiliar place. I’m especially interested in the cultural issues. I want to find what should I do if one day I become a migrate person out.

I chose “CLIMATE CHANGE” as my topic. Because recently, Japan is occuring unusual climate often. In this year, Japan’s the maximum temperature reached 30 celsius during May. This tend is able to see in global view. If the situation goes on like this, the earth face several serious problem. I made three main points which I thinked the most important issues in world. First point “Rise sea revel”.Second point”Animal lost house”.Third point”Lack of food”. I thinked that pepole shold move active to save the earth. We use many fuels without thinking.This thing cause serious climate change. We must think countermeasures now.
Recently, it is said that the number of population in the world is over 7 billion and we will confront of many problems about food, water or energy. Also, in contrary with population growth, some developed countries like Japan are suffering from aging population. So, I choose population growth as my essay’s topic. Then, l want to learn current situation of population around the world and how the population will change. Also, I want to think what is the solution of those problems.
My 3 main points are “over crowded cities”, “population of developing countries” and “aging population”.
My first opinion is I think rich people use too much energy, water and food.
Second one is I think developing countries need help by developed countries not to suffer from problems caused by population growth.
Third one is we have to think solutions of aging population as soon as possible.
My topic is food supply. I choose this topic because I think food supply problem isn’t familiar to Japan. I think Japan is blessed with food resorces. Then I want know what food supply problems. Forexample, What’s wrong? What is the present circumstance? and more question. My three main points are Natural disaster, Hunger and Agriculture.
I think Natural disaster is inevitable. We need to take measures to deal with situation. I will focus Hungry.
I think that hunger is a very serious problem. If worth comes to worth starvation.
I think people couldn’t live without agriculture. It is include working the soil to grow crops.
I chose Water Resources as my topic, because I always use clean water as a matter of course. I can’t imagine a life without safe water as most people in the world are living. I must know what problems are happening and how can be solved. My three main points are Pollution, Technology and Solution. First, I learned about lots of pollution from a book, and I think it’s a little strange that human beings have made many problems ourselves, and we want to make solutions. Second, in recently, I heard about an amazing product, “Life straw”, which make people possible to drink dirt water. I think a technology is a big element to change people’s lives. Lastly, about Solution, I don’t know what can do although there are anything to do, so I want to grasp even an image to solve this problem.
I chose “Population Growth”.Because I think this topic regarded in Japan is near to myself. Also, I think the topic is interesting because it is linked with various problems such as aging society, pollution, and food crisis. I want to learn about its relationships.
My three main points are aging society, crowded, and demographic changes. In my opinion I think aging society is a serious problem. Especially Japan’s situation is getting worse and worse. I think we should take steps to ease the burden on the young people. Secondly, I think the increase of population density causes many problems such as transportation, environmental pollution, and lack of residence. Finally, I think demographic changes causes lack of the working population. Then, economic growth can be slumped.
As I have said, population growth is complicated. I want to understand the essentials of these problems.
My topic is food supply.
First, I want to research about food security. I knew a lot of people is suffering from food shortage in the world. But I don’t know that problem concretely. Because Japan is far from food shortage. So I would like to know which country is suffering from food shortage and present situation of that country.
Second, I would like to know about climate change. The book which is written about food supply says climate change have a great effect to food production. So I want to research what kind of influence that has.
Third, I want to think about solution of this problem. I think this topic is very big problem, but it is important thing. So I would like to search good idea to solve this problem as soon as possible.
I chose “MIGRATION” as a topic. Because this is one of the issues that are paid most attention to in the world. I really want to live among my family, relatives and friends in my own country. I believe everybody is the same. Nevertheless, why do so many people leave their home countries and stay in other countries? I wanted to know the reasons.
In addition, I’m interested in the attitude of the countries which accept immigrants. Some countries, such as American and Canada, have accepted many immigrants, and the others haven’t like Japan. What are the reasons that would affect the attitude toward immigrants of each country? I think I’d like to study this problems deeply by using this opportunity.
My three main points are “causes”, “advantages and disadvantages” and “the current situation”.
About causes,there are many reasons. Why they leave their home countries. Economic reasons came to my head.
About advantages and disadvantages, l took it for granted that disadvantage of accepting immigrants is greater than advantage. Because I see disorder caused by immigrants on TV very often. Besides, they would take the job’s opportunity from the citizens.
But the United States is immigrants nation, and this country has been the most prosperous in the world. So there must be good aspect of accepting immigrants. I’d like to study more about this matter.
And about current situation, l was surprised to hear that president Trump forbade people from some of lslamic countries enter the United States. That ban was called off by the Department of justice befor long.
Some of them may certainly plan to do terrorism or crime, but the most of them are living as good citizens. How horrible they were! I felt sympathy for the people living in the United States at that time.
I want to know the reaction in the word to Trump’s statement.
